#lingeriechat debuting on Twitter Sunday 6pm GMT /1pm EST

Friday, January 7th, 2011

hashtag If you aren’t on Twitter I am afraid this post isn’t going to mean a lot to you.  But if you love lingerie and you needed a good excuse to get tweeting this could be it!

This Sunday will see the first #lingeriechat on Twitter. At 6 PM GMT/1 PM EST you are invited to join your fellow lingerie lovers to talk about anything and everything to do with lottery.
Each week will be a different topic covered.

Sunday, 9 January – Vintage Lingerie

Sunday, 16 January – Lingerie Solutions for Curvy Girls

All topic suggestions welcome just DM them to @plumslingerie.  It would be great if we could also get some guest moderators from time to time.

How Twitter Chat Works.
To get involved with the Twitter chat do a search on #lingeriechat this will bring up everybody is talking in the chat. Start by introducing yourself and then comment on what you find interesting. Make sure you use #lingeriechat in every comment and reply so everyone can be included.

If the stream is moving too fast you to keep up you can use www.tweetchat.com. This allows you to pause and slowdown the stream. I would also keep Twitter open on your mentions page seeking keep track of any direct conversations you’re having.

Chat guidelines

No spam – if you are spamming the chat participants will be advised to block you.

No pitching and promoting – the chat is about building connections and learning from others who adore their lingerie

Play nice – we are all entitled to a different opinion, please respect that not everyone believes the same as you. (Despite this Ugg boots are truly dreadful and anyone who doesn’t agree is wrong)

I’m sure it goes without saying but the contents of the chat should be suitable for your mother to read, if your mother doesn’t want read it I know I don’t.  So keep it clean and polite I’m sure we’ll have a wonderful time.
