Ban the Bounce – Guide to Buying Sports Bras

Monday, January 3rd, 2011

The new year is now here and the time for resolutions and for me it’s time to get up off the sofa and try and work off those mince pies.

If you are a busty lovely intent on getting fit keeping yourself from bouncing around and possibly causing yourself an injury is a prime concern.  Last thing you need is any excuse not to go to the gym.

Berlei Shock Absorber Bra

When I buy sports bra I always choose the highest impact bra available.  For large bra sizes Berlei Shock Absorber is my first choice. There is a wide range of styles and colours. Just because you’re exercising there is no need to wear boring blacks and greys.  Thea re is a choice between regular back fastening like a bra or crossover back.  I always choose a classic back fastening as it leaves less struggling when getting changed.  I always have to buy mine with the large back size than my regular bras but the same cup size.

Other brands or go up to the G and H cup are Triumph, Elomi, and Royce, these are good supportive roles but they do look a bit frumpy.

Marie Jo Intense Energy Beads Bra

You can get all of these bras online, and at the moment Booby Doo are having a huge sale.

If you do sports like yoga, walking or tai chi you can get away with a sports bra that is less restrictive. Marie Jo have arange called Intense and their Energy Beads range has an underwire bra that’s great for low impact sports such as golf, it is only available up to the F cup but does come in a 30 back.  It’s also very versatile and can be worn as a T-shirt bra.

Whatever bra you choose to make sure you change them every six months. They have to work a lot harder than your everyday bras at keeping your bust bounce free.
